"Quite possibly Lee Holdridge's finest hour! Or nearly two hours, that is! Original soundtrack from Simon Wiesenthal Center's Moriah Films division (Academy Award winners for GENOCIDE and THE LONG WAY HOME), directed by Richard Trank, scored by frequent collaborator Lee Holdridge. Powerhouse music underlines first two decades of Isreal existence, conflicts in Middle East. Exciting battle music, stirring musical pleas for peace play on one side, sensitive melodies, haunting music for Golda play on the other. "Golda Suite" built from five related cues is moving, emotional work that can stand on its own. Massive themes throughout are further highlights. Complete score presented in dynamic stereo from digital masters helmed by Mike Ross in London. Lee Holdridge conducts augmented forces of the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus. Intrada Signature Edition limited to 1000 copies! SOLD OUT!" - Douglass Fake of Intrada

World premiere of original soundtrack to Richard Trank documentary feature chronicling "driving force" behind famed Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal. Lee Holdridge places gentle love theme for Wiesenthal & his beloved wife Cyla at heart of incredibly moving score, then creates sobering, powerful ideas for famous names & exploits: German invasion of Poland, the Holocaust, Anne Frank, capture of Eichmann, Mengele, other dramatic episodes.
Lengthy cues allow substantial musical development. Holdridge scores for large orchestra but often spotlights rich, sobering strings against haunting solo woodwinds. Complete score is showcase for some of composer's all-time finest work! Lee Holdridge conducts Filmharmonic Orchestra of Prague. Intrada Signature Edition limited to 1000 copies! Less than 100 copies remaining!

Known mostly for his dramatic film music, these two projects show the composer walking the fine line between humor and action, playing straight to the broad comedic moments of the projects while also finding opportunities to underline their sillier sensibilities.
