Lee Holdridge places gentle love theme for Wiesenthal & his beloved wife Cyla at heart of incredibly moving score, then creates sobering, powerful ideas for famous names & exploits: German invasion of Poland, the Holocaust, Anne Frank, capture of Eichmann, Mengele, other dramatic episodes.

BUYSOUNDTRAX Records presents the original soundtrack to TRANSYLVANIA 6-5000, featuring music composed and conducted by Lee Holdridge for the 1985 horror comedy written and directed by Rudy De Luca (High Anxiety, Silent Movie, Caveman), starring Jeff Goldblum, Ed Begley, Jr., Geena Davis, Carol Kane, John Byner, Jeffrey Jones and Michael Richards. Also included is the composer’s music for the 2006 animated comedy television pilot, KORGOTH OF BARBARIA.

Known mostly for his dramatic film music, these two projects show the composer walking the fine line between humor and action, playing straight to the broad comedic moments of the projects while also finding opportunities to underline their sillier sensibilities.
